New Learning Games

We tried out two new games today. I found some cute cut-outs of handprints, train engines, stars, and apples at Dollar Tree. I wrote the alphabet on the train engines along with the long vowels and used them as a border for Amir's room. I put numbers on the handprints and created a collage in the girls' room. The games are basically a number recognition and phonics review. I call out a number or sound and the children have to find it. Amir was the winner of both games, mainly because he listened better. They both got a popsicle as a prize. *smile*
