This is a really bad picture, but it's the best one I could get. Our mommy bird built a fine nest in the tree next to our patio. 2 days ago her eggs hatched and now we have what looks like 3 little baby birds. Master and Princess have spent hours just observing the nest and asking all sorts of questions. Where is the Daddy bird? (Out working!), What are they eating? (Food from your birdfeeder), Is the mommy bird going to kill the baby birds by sitting on them? (Of course not, she's only keeping them warm.) , Can we have the egg shells? (Ha!)
You just never know what beauty awaits you when you step outside your door.
