I love paper mache. So you all will see me use it alot. This time we made some decorative trays. I used strips of tissue paper and a mixture of flour, water, and a little salt as a preservative.
I covered our "mold" tray with plastic wrap, and the twins layered the flour-dipped paper of the tray.
We let the trays dry overnight outside.
After they were dry, I trimmed the edges with scissors.
Princess and Master then painted on flowers we dried a few weeks ago. I watered down the glue a bit to make it easier to spread over the delicate flowers.
I believe the finished products turned out quite nice. We'll use them for Montessori work. Good job, Mir and Sina.
