All My Children . . .

Our family took a day trip to sunny San Diego a couple weeks ago. The children and I were able to meet many of Daddy's old friends and relatives. We saw his first mosque and old home. The highlight of the whole trip was that we all got to meet my husband's eldest son, Shahid. The Master and Princess were overjoyed to meet their big brother. I joked that Tariq, Shahid, and Amir looked like triplets at different stages in life. LOL. It was a wonderful day, and I pray that we can make it happen again very soon.

  1. Looks like everyone had a great time. My youngest twin's name is Tariq also. I'm so glad that I finally get to see your pic. What a beautiful smile, you have!

  3. My husband has always loved the name Tariq. I didn't know you went natural, join the club! It's so much easier than perming. I kinda like my teeny, weeny 'fro.

  5. OK, your husband must work for the airlines LOL! Does he for real? My dad retired from Northwest and is all over the place. If not, you are so fortunate to be in a financial place to travel in this economy. I'm watching families crumble and it is...OK I digressed LOL.

I meant to say, I'm so happy you all got to meet your other son/brother. You can never have enough family.

    p.s. I'm back...sort of.
